I recently found out about Google having an IMing program called Google Talk. From what I read, it's like an Instant Messaging thing where you can both type and speak, just like any other IM of course. And I think it is compatible with, or one can make it compatible with, other IM's like Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc. I'm curious to know whether anyone who has Gmail has tried this? How does it work with your screen reader if you have? I want to try this out myself, but first I will need to get a Gmail account. *smiles*
it's semi accessible. couldn't work out how to voice chat, most things have to be accessed via the sys tray as far as i could see, but i played with it for all of five mins, since noone I know uses it, or indeed uses their GMail address.
I've used GTalk several times, and I've sent you a private message about it.
